Pimento were appointed in December 2016 to manage and oversee the development of ZipWorld’s marketing and team with Stephen installed as an interim CMO.
Job number one was to better understand the guest, and following a segmentation exercise, we installed a marketing automation tool, made changes to the customer journey and introduced flexibility into their pricing model.
Further changes to their social media and PPC strategy, along with the development of a number of special events, the launch of a £3.6 million visitor centre with new rides and the repromotion of old ones, led to a 70% increase in revenue in two short years. Having done our job, we supported the interview process for a full time CMO and handed back the helmet in 2018.
