NICK BAND
Nick Band is a creative communications professional with more than 25 years’ experience in PR and brand development.
A former journalist and PR agency head, Nick is currently a Senior Consultant with Pimento working across a number of academic publishing clients including Springer Nature and the America Chemical Society.
His experience includes 20 years as the founder and CEO of the PR agency Band & Brown Communications, which grew into a 90-strong agency before being sold to a Canadian Marcoms group. During his career, he has worked across multiple sectors on brands such as First Direct, BT, Cisco, Mars and HM Government.
More recently Nick has specialised in commercial storytelling, creating brand narratives and propositions for a range of clients. He has also published a children’s book.
