2022 Marketing Trends

This year has flown by… It’s crazy that we are already in December and 2022 is just around the corner. With the world still managing the impact of Covid, countries going back on the Red List and lockdowns occurring across Europe, we are starting to get a picture of what ‘normal’ will look like in 2022. There is still a huge uncertainty around the economic recovery, due to the rapidly increasing costs on businesses and the concern that consumers will face a massive squeeze on their finances.

The main consumer trend is the shift in their working behaviour and the impact this has had on the way brands will need to engage with their audience. With consumers spending more time at home, the focus for brands is how to ‘own the home’ and the local environment they are in, but also, how to protect the health and wellbeing of their staff.

In our latest Thought Paper, we explore this from different angles to help give you a perspective on interesting ideas and opportunities for 2022. We look at digital programmatic advertising, trends and predictions in the TV marketplace, the latest tech for retail and ecommerce including AI, brand distinctiveness and cultural shifts, and we look at company cultures and how to make them more positive for 2022.
