Guardant is a challenger brand created by established Private Equity firm SHP Capital to bring a new approach to working with IFAs around Inheritance Tax. Two Pimento members, Honey Creative and Owen Catto, collaborated to develop the new brand, identity, brand language and website.

How do you challenge established ways of working in Inheritance Tax?
The Inheritance Tax market is characterised by ingrained and traditional ways of working. SHP Capital wanted Guardant to stand apart from the crowd, bringing a new approach to working with IFAs while establishing a brand built around simplicity, transparency and accessibility.

Honey Creative and Owen Catto worked together to create a brand design that reflected Guardant's positioning and challenger mentality.
The brand symbol and photographic styling were developed to capture the contrast between the modern and the traditional. This identity was then brought to life across print and digital collateral, including the design of a complete new website.
